MASKS and HELMETS

The Masks help the Predators sight their burners properly, and help them see. They can change their vision, using the buttons on their left gauntlet. As you can see, these masks are different. Each individual predator will usually customise their mask, making it like a signature.

SHIFT SUITS (Or Chamelion Suit)

The Shift Suits Enable the Predators to bend light around themselves, making them semi-invisible. They also provide protection as armour.

The left gauntlets on a Predator contain their Thermal Particle Reactor (Their Self-Destruct), Shift suit controls and their Shoulder burner auto-targeting override. On Predator 2's Model (Bottom one) it also housed a small weapon that shoots a wishbone-shaped projectile.

BODY MESH

The body mesh provides heating and cooling.

THE SMART WEAPON (Disc)

The smart weapon is the electronic disc seen in Predator 2 and the new Alien vs. Predator Game. It is an electromagnetic controlled weapon which can easily slice through the thickest armour and flesh with ease, and returning to the users hand after throwing. It is also used in Close Combat, making a formidable weapon.

THE MEDI-KITS

Medi-Kits were used in both Predator and Predator 2, and both were stored on their back. In Predator, the medi kit was stored directly behind the shoulder burner.

THE NET-GUN

The net gun was used in Predator 2, and is stored on one of the Predator's Shin Protectors. It is made from a ultra-strong material, and on each corner there is several little drilling devices. These drill into the surface which the target has been pinned to, and so effectively tighten the net into the victim and killing it.

THE SHOULDER BURNER (Or Plasma Caster)

The Shoulder cannon is mostly used by younger Predator, but always carried by everyone. It is used on a predators first few hunts, but for the elders to use it on weak prey is very dishonourable. However using it on an alien queen would not be as dishonourable. It fires a ball of burning light at the target, burning and melting them on impact, and is said to create a terrible stink.

THE SPEAR and COMBI STICK

The spear/naginata is the average predator weapon, being an eight foot rod with a large blade at either end. The combi weapons are telescopic and can be shortened to about a foot, and extended to about 9 feet. The image shows a spear or naginata.

THE WRIST BLADES BLADES (Or Ki'cti pa)

These are the most honourable weapon to use, and also one of the most enjoyable. The retractable blades are housed in the right gauntlet (Or left for a left-handed predator) and are very sharp and easily capable of dismembering a victim in one swipe.

THE SCATTERGUN

The scattergun is a fairly weak weapon used by the predator, with a shotgun-like spread. it isn't used a great deal for hunts, it was designed more for war- but the predator rarely engage in war - they just unleash the xenomorph onto the target's homeworld.
